OK, so I ordered my first pairs of ECCO shoes b/c they came highly recommended by the group of flight attendants I work with. We are on our feet nearly all day, and still need a shoe that looks professional. So I went ahead and bought a 45 shoe, since my size is normally 10-10.5-11 (depending on manufacturer). The 45 is just big, it fits my square toes, but my heel slightly lifts up every time I step, and I fear that they will slip off of me when I'm running between gates. But, since I have square feet (and these are not sold in wide sizes)- I observed the width of the 45 is PERFECT. However, I went ahead to order a 44 to see how that would fit. It came today, and it fits the LENGTH of my foot PERFECTLY (no lifting when walking)-however, the bones where my toe knuckles feel crunched and tight. I am going to actually keep the 44, and see how well these break in (crossing fingers). If my feet start bleeding, and aching- I'm gonna reorder the 45 and donate these 44.
